The FMWC is committed to the development of women physicians and the well-being of all women. FMWC provides women physicians the opportunity to meet with women physicians across Canada and around the world. As well, members can take part in initiatives concerning Women's Health at local, national and international levels. FMWC Branches are located across Canada. FMWC is a nation member of the Medical Women's International Association (MWIA).

WHAT'S NEW
	Canadian Menopause Coalition October 15, 2009: An alliance of 14 national health organizations (including the FMWC!) launched the Canadian Menopause Coalition, a diverse national partnership that will put a spotlight on menopause and women’s health at midlife. For more information, see also the "Special Projects" tab on the left-hand bar. New for You! In the "Leadership & Advocacy" section: the "Top 10 Skills" workbook has been launched. In "Special Projects": "Customizing Personal Balance Within Medicine" stories have now been posted.
